PandaBite AI is a nutrition tracking application that provides:

• AI-powered food photo analysis to estimate nutrition content
• Barcode scanning to lookup product nutrition information
• Nutrition label scanning and analysis
• Health scoring system for foods (0-100 scale)
• Dietary preference and allergen tracking
• Daily nutrition logging and progress tracking
• Macro and calorie goal setting

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use PandaBite AI, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PandaBite AI. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App

5. Health and Medical Disclaimer

By using PandaBite AI, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated nutrition estimates may contain errors and should not be relied upon for medical decisions
• Health scores are based on general nutritional guidelines and may not be appropriate for your specific health needs
• You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes
• Allergen warnings are based on available data and may not be complete; always check product labels directly
• The App is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice

6. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate nutrition information, you acknowledge that:

• AI analysis of food photos provides estimates, not exact values
• Product information from databases may be outdated or incorrect
• Actual nutrition content may vary from stated values
• You should verify critical nutrition information from official sources

7. Intellectual Property

PandaBite AI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PandaBite AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to PandaBite AI (such as food photos). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

9. Third-Party Services

PandaBite AI integrates with third-party services including:

• OpenAI: For AI-powered food analysis
• Open Food Facts: For barcode product database
• Supabase: For backend services

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PANDABITE AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
• Any damages resulting from errors in AI analysis or nutrition information
• Any health issues arising from reliance on App-provided information

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

PANDABITE AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PandaBite AI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings or contacting us.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or sending you an email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PandaBite AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PandaBite AI regarding your use of the App.
